Join us this Sunday, May 26 at 9 a.m. for our Worship Service. Can't make it out? Watch live on our website: firstbaptistwb.org/watch-live/. This Sunday we plan to be in Luke 9:28-36. In this passage, God answers the question of who Jesus is. After hearing Jesus speak of being rejected, suffering, and being killed, and then telling His disciples that those who follow Him must take up their cross daily and follow Him, it would be easy to despair. But on the mount of Transfiguration, we see that Jesus doesn't end in suffering, and following Jesus doesn't end in suffering.

Please join us this Sunday, April 7 at 9 a.m for our Worship Service. Lord willing, we will be observing communion. As is our practice when we observe communion, we stop our series and focus in on an element of the gospel. This Sunday we will be looking at the unity and the disunity of the church that communion brings. Communion is a visual illustration of the unity of the church in the gospel, but the church is often not unified or has a false unity. This Sunday we will look at a few passages in 1 Corinthians, but focus on 1 Corinthians 11:17-24. Please note, typically we take a benevolent offering the Sunday of communion, but we are currently focusing on our Zambia project offering so we will not be taking a dedicated benevolent offering this week. We encourage you to consider being faithful to the ministry opportunity in Zambia. As always, our service will be streamed live on our website: firstbaptistwb.org/watch-live/.

Ever feel like God doesn't know what you are going through? Maybe even that God is asleep on the job? This Sunday, March 24 at 9 a.m., we will be in Luke 8:22-25. But Jesus' response to the storm challenges the disciples' faith and leaves us asking where is our faith in struggles. Can't make it out? Our Worship Service will be streamed live on our website: firstbaptistwb.org/watch-live/.
